Grontmij was commissioned to undertake the survey and production of the strategy for the replacement of Anglian Water’s unsupportable PLCs.
This provided a risk based strategy whereby the effect of the PLC failure is assessed in terms of its affect on the business. Grontmij was responsible for the project, from business case through to handover.
Sourcing specialist expertise
We utilised a specialist contractor for the installation and worked in close cooperation with operations. The work included updating the PLC functionality to reflect the current practice on site and utilises a suite of standard code modules.
