Improving water quality
Grontmij undertook a global survey with regard to the implementation of the Water Framework Directive.
This survey identified the objectives, measures and costs required to improve water quality. It was done in close cooperation with other relevant parties, such as municipalities, the provincial authorities and Rhine-West.
Analysis and reporting
We collected and analysed information on costs and the effectiveness of measures previously implemented in the study area. We also assisted with the consultations with stakeholders. Our report gives a clear overview of the possible measures, their effectiveness and cost, and identifies where there are gaps in knowledge that need to be filled.
