Producing a modern standards safety case
A large healthcare company recently undertook an initiative to conduct a periodic review of safety under license condition 15 and produce and implement safety cases compliant with modern standards of best practice for its radioactive facilities by the end of 2010.
This included production of a modern standards safety case of one of their nuclear facilities which because of its key commercial importance, was accorded priority.
Extensive work scope
Grontmij’s scope of work includes facility walkdowns, performance of the engineering substantiation for the relevant selected structures systems and components, production of ESRs and associated up-issue to issue 1 and issue 2 status.
