Campus Enhancements Project
Whitelaw Turkington was commissioned in December 2006 to carry out a campus wide enhancements strategy.
The project is divided into two distinct elements. The first is a campus public realm strategy which establishes a set of design guidelines for improving the movement and open space network across the city campus.
Designing the heart of the campus
The second stage of the project is the detailed design and implementation of a key strategic pedestrian link connecting the north of the campus to the south, together with the creation of a new square to form the key arrival space within the heart of the campus.
The proposals were completed in January 2008.
